This year's culinary theme was Mexican food.
Lou makes up some very authentic and muy delicioso molé
appetizers for Gayla.
There was no reason for anyone to leave hungry, there was more
than enough food.
And yes, Bob brought his infamous "Pink Stuff"
The weather was pleasant so some of the ladies took to the
patio.

Layout Tour
What most of us want in our stockings is train stuff, you know,
toys for big boys!
The layout drew quite a crowd

Awards
presentation
One of our traditions is for our President to select individuals
for recognition for their outstanding contributions to the club.
John, our President could not make the party, but he prepared
three awards for 2008 achievements.
On the President's behalf, VP Roger presents an APN Team Award
to the Scenery Committee.
Shown are three of the Committee members, Mike, Moe and Bob.
Duane presents an APN Special Award to Roger for his
contribution in hosting ProRail
The most prestigious award is the
President's Award.
This year Johnnie
Krezinski was chosen as the recipient of this honor.
Unfortunately Johnnie was not at the party to receive his award
(Actually he preferred instead to be at the clubhouse working!)
This rock tunnel portal scene is an example of Johnnie's talent,
and it illustrates his worthiness for this award
We caught Johnnie at the club, working on
scenery as usual, the following Saturday.
We held an impromptu ceremony and presented Johnnie with his
award then
The 2008
President's Award
As other members look on, John, left, shakes Johnnie's hand to
congratulation him for his achievement
